JOHN D. MAIDA, ESQUIRE,
a life long resident of the Philadelphia area, earned a degree in accounting
(B.S. in Business Administration) from LaSalle University in 1970 and a Juris
Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1973. Since 1973, he
has engaged in the general practice of law, with emphasis on real estate,
civil real estate and business litigation, franchise, business and estate; in
addition, Mr. Maida was appointed as an approved attorney for Title Insurance
purposes in 1983, and became a agent for Conestoga Title Insurance Company in
1986. He has issued over 5000 title policies since 1986 and has more than
thirty (30) years of extensive experience in matters relating to real estate,
business/corporate organizations and estate planning. He is a frequent
lecturer for the Montgomery Bar Association and has developed and presented
seminars to the Pennsylvania Bar Association and American Institute of
Bankers. Author of Practical Guide to Buy and Sell Real Estate (1986), and
various consumer oriented news letters, he has directed his practice towards
educating the consumer in understanding the complexity of real estate and
their estate. He was a licensed real estate broker (1986-2004) and is a
member of the Pa. Land Title Association. He is also a member of the
Montgomery County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is admitted to
practice before all courts and tribunals in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
